It's beautiful and springy here. I love it. I walked to the Farmer's Market yesterday (about 1.5 miles away) and everything was so green and there was tulips everywhere. It's my first trip there of the season. I picked up some asparagus as that is about the only thing that is in season in Michigan right now. I'm not a huge fan of asparagus, or so I thought, but we had it for dinner tonight and it was delicious! I guess freshness makes a huge difference! I also went on a lovely walk through the Arboretum today along the Huron River and it was gorgeous. I especially love the pink trees. We have a lot in our apartment complex and everytime I look at them, it makes me so happy. So, here, for all the curious types is a picture of me (at 40 weeks pregnant - well, close enough since my due date is tomorrow) and the trees from our porch.

Wow you look good for 40 weeks! I can't believe you're going to be a mom in the next little while (hopefully like, tonight right???) Can't wait to see pictures!
Yeah!! You broke down and posted a picture. I agree with sarah. It's all in the belly, which is great b/c then all you have to worry about losing is the belly, not extra stuff everywhere else. I can't wait to see the little one. Will Katsu post soon after the birth so we can see pictures??
I was totally expecting a birth announcement, but a picture is almost as nice. :) You do look great. Hopefully you feel as good as you look!
Asparagus that is fresh is MUCH better than asparagus that isn't. I also prefer it when it is smaller in radius (less stringy).
We are home now and happy to find your post. Wondering when that little one is going to make his appearance. Be sure to let us know. We love you Grandma and Grandpa Clark. ps you do look wonderful and healthy and happy.
