- Andrew went to a birthday party for his friend at a nearby water park and a had a blast.
- Kids celebrated Golden Day on Monday for all the kids doing well at keeping the rules this week. They got twinkies and Golden Oreos and went to an older class (Andrew went to 5th grade and Seth to 3rd grade) and played Minute-to-win-it games.
- Finally had the meeting to get Seth an IEP so he can get speech services. I get this process for special education stuff, but it takes way too long for speech. He can start speech next year. I am going to start evaluating Logan much earlier!
- I had a dentist appt on Tuesday and the younger boys went and played at Play Date - first time since Noah was born. Logan was nervous for me to leave him, but Noah was ready to go!
- The sister missionaries came over on Tuesday for dinner and to give us a lesson about missionary work. We had nachos, which I couldn't eat because I had had fluroride. Oh, well - it was yummy as a salad too.
- Wednesday morning both boys had award ceremonies. Logan and Noah did pretty well sitting still for the whole 1.5 hours! Andrew got awards for:

- Outstanding Orchestra student

- Highest Read 3D reading level
- Math fair participation
- Katsu and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary. The kids stayed home with a babysitter while we went to Chef and the Farmer. We had a cozy seat and a long leisurely dinner - like 2+ hours, I think. Katsu had a whole trout with stewed tomatoes. I had a soft shell crab and a sweet potato stuffed with shrimp and vegetables. We also got some grits to share. It was great fun and one of our favorite restaurants.
- Seth had a party in his class on Thursday. It was entertaining to watch them all dancing to a Just Dance like thing. They also had an enormous number of snacks.
- Kids had their last day of school. We had ice cream sandwiches when they got home, played for a while, and went to the pool. Then, we took Katsu to the airport for a conference and all went to AirU to bounce - Logan was at a birthday party and the older kids just bounced for 2 hours and had a great time.
- We spent a lot of time fixing up the house this week. We fixed our lock on the front door and had an electrician finally fix all our 3 way light switches which didn't work correctly. We also have been painting slowly all the trim and doorframes and such through the house - it looks so much better with a nice bright white.
- Saturday we painted, played, cleaned, and went to the pool.
